Bangladesh’s Victory Day Celebration and Pitha Party in Windsor, Ontario

Windsor, Ontario, Canada – December is a month of victory and pride for Bangladeshi people worldwide. On December 21, the Bangladesh-Canada Association, Windsor-Essex (BCAWE), organized a vibrant Victory Day and Winter Pitha Festival, managed by President Md. Shameem Momtaz and General Secretary Mohammad Jalal Uddin.
The event, held in Windsor, Ontario, was filled with music, conversations, and laughter, creating a lively and vibrant atmosphere. The celebration saw enthusiastic participation from community members of all ages. The program began with an opening speech by President Md. Shameem Momtaz, who paid tribute to the freedom fighters of the 1971 Liberation War.
The BCAWE extends heartfelt thanks to all participants and sponsors for their active presence and cooperation in this beautiful family and cultural event. The love and participation of the community made this wonderful event possible.
