University of Scholars proudly hosted a gorgeous convocation ceremony at Senaprangon, Dhaka Cantonment, marking a significant milestone in its academic journey. The momentous occasion saw the graduation of over 2,000 students participating in the convocation ceremony.
The event commenced with the arrival of distinguished guests, faculty members, students, and more than a hundred corporate industrialists, followed by a grand procession led by the Convocation President, Honorable Advisor Syeda Rizwana Hasan, and Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Enamul Basher. Among the esteemed guests, Dr. Sami Azam from Charles Darwin University (CDU), Australia, graced the occasion as a special guest, further adding to the international significance of the event.
The program included inspiring speeches, award presentations, and the formal conferral of degrees. Mr. Azam J Chowdhury, Chairman, East Coast Group, was present as the Convocation Speaker for this ceremony. A total of 35 outstanding graduates from 21 different batches were honored with the prestigious Chancellor Gold Medals in recognition of their exceptional academic performance.
Addressing the graduating class, Convocation President Honorable Advisor Syeda Rizwana Hasan stated, “This is not just the culmination of your academic journey but the beginning of your contributions to society. Use your knowledge with integrity and commitment to make a difference in the world.”
Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Enamul Basher expressed his pride in the graduates, saying, “Our students have shown remarkable dedication and perseverance. Today, as they step into the professional world, we trust that they will uphold the values of excellence and ethics that this university instills.”
Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Admiral Muhammad Farid Habib (RETD.), also shared his thoughts, saying, “The success of our graduates reflects the commitment of University of Scholars to nurturing talent and ingenuity. We believe they will go on to achieve great things and contribute meaningfully to their fields and communities.”
The Special Assistant (State Minister Status), Ministry of Education, Professor Dr. M Aminul Islam, also expressed himself through an insightful speech. A rousing presentation by the Vice Chairman, BOT, Mr. Md. Ariful Hoque Shuhan, showcased the impact and the excellence that the graduates of University of Scholars can contribute to society.
The ceremony concluded with the closing declaration by the Vice-Chancellor, followed by a celebratory lunch and an afternoon session featuring speeches from top graduates and the presentation of special awards.
